Our History.

In 1961, Theodor Fink founded a small civil engineering company in Waldshut-Tiengen. His son Max continued the business. With the arrival of Uwe Klefenz as managing director and co-partner, a new chapter began – and with his takeover, “Fink & Klefenz” became today’s Klefenz GmbH.

Over more than six decades, the company has grown into an enterprise with more than 200 employees, its own locations in Southern Germany, its own gravel pit and its own recycling yard. What has remained is family leadership – and the understanding that in civil engineering, a managing director’s word carries more weight than any contract.

What has brought us here also defines how we think and act today – clear in our attitude, open to development and driven by the will to make what already exists even better.
