On June 13, 2026, our employees, their families, and partners gathered for the Klefenz Summer Party. It was a day that highlighted what sustains us beyond the construction site.

For an entire year, our people are spread across various locations and dozens of construction sites. Whether working on the tracks, in trenches, or at the controls, they are often out in all kinds of weather and rarely all in the same place. On June 13, we changed that. We brought around 200 people together at the Berghaus: colleagues from every location, many accompanied by their partners and children. From the High Rhine to Central Germany, we were all in one place for one day.
For once, the day wasn't about deadlines, schedules, or tonnage. The fact that so many brought their families made it truly special. Suddenly, the children and partners who usually only hear stories about the job site were right there with us.
We enjoyed a barbecue, and the atmosphere was lively all evening. A singer kicked things off on stage, followed by a live band. As night fell, the DJ took over, and the summer party turned into an after-party. We ate, talked, laughed, and danced until late into the night.
For us, a day like this is, above all, a thank you. The work our employees put in throughout the year is not something we take for granted. Getting up early, physically demanding work, taking responsibility on-site, and staying reliable even when things get tight—that is exactly what defines Klefenz. It’s not the machines or the certificates; it’s the people who ensure every day that, in the end, there is something tangible to show for it.
We do not take it for granted that so many of our colleagues have remained loyal to us for years and decades. We are grateful for it. The summer party is the moment each year when we want to show that, not just say it.
