As a control and safety technology fitter (m/f/d), you work on railway infrastructure projects with high technical relevance and take responsibility for installation, maintenance and implementation on site.
For our location in Waldshut-Tiengen, we are looking for a full-time fitter for control and safety technology. The position is aimed at applicants with technical training who safely install electrical and electronic systems, work in a structured manner on construction sites and also work reliably in the rail environment.
You have completed training as an electronics technician, mechatronics technician or a comparable technical qualification. Ideally, you already have experience in control and safety technology or in the area of railway technology. Technical understanding, practical experience in installing and maintaining electrical and electronic systems as well as basic knowledge of measurement technology and the use of test equipment are important. In addition, the ability to work in a team, flexibility, independent work, secure German language skills and the willingness to work on Deutsche Bahn construction sites, including outside the region, are required. A class B driving license is required, C and CE are an advantage.
For this position, we are looking for employees who work in a technically clean manner, take on responsibility and move safely even under changing construction site conditions. You can expect a specialized work environment with modern equipment, professionally relevant projects and long-term development opportunities.
“A strong company is created by strong people. We are looking for employees who want to take on responsibility, work as a team and build infrastructure for the future together with us. ”

Three things set Klefenz apart from many other construction companies: we have been family-owned since 1961, we build with our own teams and our own materials, and we treat employees in a way that makes them stay. That is the short answer to why you should work at Klefenz.

We pay in accordance with the BRTV collective agreement – including all allowances, travel expenses and collectively agreed special payments provided for in the main construction industry. This includes Christmas and holiday pay, performance-based bonuses and a company car for selected positions.
What you can earn depends on your qualifications, experience and occupational field – we discuss specific salary ranges transparently in the first interview.

With locations in Waldshut-Tiengen, Zwickau, Germersheim and Asperg, we are present at several sites while staying close to our projects. This allows us to combine regional roots with short distances, clear organisation and a working environment with perspective.
Today sleeper replacement during live rail operations, tomorrow fibre-optic expansion for a municipality, the day after signalling technology in the Deutsche Bahn network – at Klefenz, you work across a range of services that is hard to match in civil engineering. Eleven trades under one roof mean eleven ways to build something that lasts. This keeps the work interesting – and turns a job into a career.
