As a two-way excavator driver in Deutsche Bahn Infrastructure Projects (m/f/d), you will work on demanding rail projects and take responsibility for the safe and precise use of modern machinery technology.
For our infrastructure projects in the Deutsche Bahn area, we are looking for specialists who use two-way excavators safely, routinely and responsibly. The position is aimed at applicants with practical experience in railway construction, technical understanding and a willingness to work reliably even on supra-regional construction sites.
You have a valid class B and CE driving license and the necessary qualifications and experience in driving two-way excavators. In addition, you have several years of experience in operating construction equipment, ideally on Deutsche Bahn infrastructure projects or comparable construction projects. Knowledge of railway construction and relevant safety regulations, technical understanding of machine maintenance and care, and an independent, reliable and responsible way of working are important. Good German language skills and willingness to work outside the region are required.
For this position, we are looking for employees who control machines safely, work under clear guidelines and remain reliable even in a safety-relevant environment. You can expect a technically demanding field of work with modern equipment, a long-term perspective and projects with a high level of professional relevance.
“A strong company is created by strong people. We are looking for employees who want to take on responsibility, work as a team and build infrastructure for the future together with us. ”

Three things set Klefenz apart from many other construction companies: we have been family-owned since 1961, we build with our own teams and our own materials, and we treat employees in a way that makes them stay. That is the short answer to why you should work at Klefenz.

We pay in accordance with the BRTV collective agreement – including all allowances, travel expenses and collectively agreed special payments provided for in the main construction industry. This includes Christmas and holiday pay, performance-based bonuses and a company car for selected positions.
What you can earn depends on your qualifications, experience and occupational field – we discuss specific salary ranges transparently in the first interview.

With locations in Waldshut-Tiengen, Zwickau, Germersheim and Asperg, we are present at several sites while staying close to our projects. This allows us to combine regional roots with short distances, clear organisation and a working environment with perspective.
Today sleeper replacement during live rail operations, tomorrow fibre-optic expansion for a municipality, the day after signalling technology in the Deutsche Bahn network – at Klefenz, you work across a range of services that is hard to match in civil engineering. Eleven trades under one roof mean eleven ways to build something that lasts. This keeps the work interesting – and turns a job into a career.
